Amber Sculpture Studio

Welcome to our website. At Amber Sculpture Studio we offer a range of sculpture workshops in clay, wood, stone and plaster. The studio is situated in the beautiful grounds of Hawkwood College in Stroud, Gloucestershire. It is run by the sculptor and artist: David Lovemore . David offers an introduction to clay modelling in pure form; techniques of basic woodcarving to create relief or 3 dimensional pieces; stone sculpture with appropriate tools and techniques for soft or hard stone; as well as tool sharpening, maintenance and selection.

LATEST NEWS David also offers wood and stone sculpture courses on behalf of Hawkwood College : For information about the Woodcarving and Stone Sculpture weekend (16th-18th July), refer to item 10-284 in the 2010 Hawkwood Course Programme. The new course schedule for the first half of 2010 is available! For 2010 we are offering sculpture courses lasting 6 weeks, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The studio is well organised with a wide variety of tools and all the sculpture aids that are needed to enjoy doing sculpture. If you have any questions at all please contact David.
